Hadith Reminder

The beloved Messenger ﷺ has instructed: If anyone among his ummah sends salutations upon him once then it will written as 10 good deeds in his book of records, and 10 sins of theirs will be terminated. And he has further advised that whoever recites this dua after having heard the call of prayer and the iqamat then it will become obligatory for him ﷺ to be their intercessor and mediator on the Day of Resurrection. The dua being – O Allah with our total and complete request and the standing position of the ummah grant to us the intercession of the beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ – and raise him to the most elite and exclusive of ranks and place him on the exalted station of praise and glory as You had promised him You will do.
(Hadith no.6 – pg.26 – As Salaatu Sirrul Asrar – Nur-e-Mujassam vol 7)

The Mysticism of Muhammad (SAW)

  • On the blessed night when Prophet Muhammad (saw) was about to climb onto the Buraq, it shied away from him. When asked “why?” - the Buraq replied that he wanted the prophet to promise that would ride on his back on the Day of Qiyamah. The prophet (saw) smiled and accepted the request. The Buraq couched for the prophet to climb onto his back but he (saw) stepped away. The Buraq became afraid and asked the reason for this. The prophet (saw) then requested a promise from him: “On the Day of Qiyamah when it is time for my Ummah to cross the pulsirat and they are struggling to do so - will you promise to carry them across to safety.” The Buraq accepted this request saying he will fly them over the bridge. The prophet was very pleased with this answer and hopped onto the burqa, proceeding on the journey.
  • During the journey of Meraj when Huzur (saw) was given salaah as a gift and was returning from the Arsh, Musa (a.s) stopped him many times and asked him to go back to Allah and reduce the number of salaahs. Musa (a.s) stopped the prophet saw each time not only to reduce the salaahs but because he could see the reflection of the Nur of Allah in the eyes of Prophet Muhammad (saw) - and for this reason he kept on stalling him so he too could revel in the light of Allah.
  • On the night of Meraj the Holy Prophet (saw) met with Ibrahim (a.s) who asked him to deliver his salaam to the entire Ummah and to pass on a message from him. He said that he saw the gardens of Jannah was prepared rich in soil, filled with water that is pure, winds that are sweet and angels waiting to plant their seeds & grow it for them. The 5 seeds being: Sub’han’allah, Alhumdulillah, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulallah and La howla wala quwata illa billahil alliyal azeem. How fortunate are we to receive our share of the salaam of the Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) in this era as well – and that the bringer of this salaam for us is none other than our Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw).
